A Van That Looks Like It’s From the Future

If you’re after something that doesn’t blend into the background, the PV5 has you covered. Its sharp, clean lines and modern boxy shape give it a standout look, with Kia’s signature “Opposites United” design language on full display.

There’s even an optional digital display on the front grille that can show messages or system updates. It’s a bold touch that sets it apart from more traditional vans.

Practical Sizing for Real-World Use

At launch, the PV5 is available in a medium wheelbase (L2/H1) format, with three variations: Cargo, Crew Cab, and Chassis Cab. The Cargo model offers 4.5 cubic metres of load space, enough for two Euro pallets, and a payload capacity of up to 790kg depending on the battery.

More options are on the way in 2026, including a shorter wheelbase version for tight city driving and a high-roof model offering up to 5.1 cubic metres of load volume.

Tech-Focused Interior

Step inside and you’ll find a clean, modern interior that feels more like an EV than a commercial van. The dashboard features a 12.9-inch touchscreen running Android Automotive OS, along with a 7-inch driver display showing real-time driving data.

There’s support for over-the-air updates, smart fleet tools, and plenty of practical storage throughout. The Passenger version seats up to seven, with clever storage compartments and underfloor space that make the most of the cabin.

Electric Range and Charging

The PV5 comes with two battery choices:

• 51.5kWh, offering up to 181 miles (WLTP)

• 71.2kWh, offering up to 249 miles (WLTP)

Thanks to 400V architecture, you can charge from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes using a 150kW DC charger. That means less time waiting and more time on the road, which is ideal for busy working days.

Kia PV5 Pricing

Pricing starts from £27,645 plus VAT for the Cargo model, or just £22,645 plus VAT for eligible businesses using the UK Plug-in Van Grant. The Passenger version starts at £32,995, making it a well-priced alternative to more expensive rivals like the Volkswagen ID.Buzz.

When Can You Get One?

Pre-orders are open now, with UK deliveries expected later in 2025. The L2/H1 version will be the first to arrive, with more configurations to follow in 2026. Kia also has its sights set on a full electric van lineup, with larger PV7 and PV9 models already in development.
